I’m excited to announce that I will be joining the Institute of International Education (IIE) Board of Trustees along with Maxmillian Angerholzer lll and Calvin G. Butler Jr. Best known for their role in managing and administering the Fulbright Program, IIE is the world leader in designing strategies and implementing programs that advance scholarship, promote access to education, and build economies. The independent not-for-profit organization was founded in 1919 and is led by a Board of Trustees who bring a wide variety of skill sets from leadership positions within colleges and universities, financial institutions, government agencies and organizations.
IIE strives for global reach, excellence, and diversity in all of its programs and operations, all things that I too am extremely passionate about. It’s important to always look for ways to better educate our youth because they are in fact our leaders of tomorrow. In doing so, we all stand to benefit as a society. It’s an honor to join IIE’s Board of Trustees and I look forward to helping contribute to their success for the foreseeable future.
