Colleen Goggins is a trusted advisor and partner to a wide variety of businesses and leaders around the world. She is known for her ability to maximize team performance and to manage effectively across diverse cultures and geographies, reflecting her many years of global senior leadership experience. With a strong background in consumer goods and healthcare, Colleen currently serves as a non-executive director on Boards across a variety of industries. She has been a Director for the TD Bank Group since 2012 and is a member of the Board’s Risk Committee. From 2013 – 2016, she served on the Supervisory Board of Munich-based KraussMaffei Group, the leading supplier of machinery and systems for processing plastics and rubber, and in 2015, she joined the Advisory Board of Zurich-based SIG Combibloc, the #2 provider of aseptic packaging and machinery. Both are portfolio companies of ONEX Corporation, the Toronto-based private equity firm. In 2014, she joined the Board of Valeant Pharmaceuticals and served until 2016. She was a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee and the Special Ad Hoc Committee.
Colleen was a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Executive Committee and served as Worldwide Chairman of the Consumer Group for ten years. In this role, she provided strategic leadership for the $16BN fully-integrated personal and healthcare portfolio, which included leading brands such as Neutrogena, Listerine, Splenda and Acuvue, as well as consumer medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
Colleen is actively involved with a number of non-profit organizations, reflecting her interests in healthcare and food sufficiency, and in higher education. She is a member of the University of Wisconsin Foundation, serving on its Executive Committee and chairing its Budget and Personnel Committee. And she is a member the Board of the University’s Center for Brand and Product Management and the Women’s Philanthropy Council. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for NY Citymeals-on-Wheels, which provides over 2 million meals to 18,000 elderly, homebound New Yorkers every year. (Please donate at Citymeals.org).
Colleen holds a Masters in Management, with a concentration in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She is a frequent lecturer on topics including leadership and consumer marketing.
